Brunnerville UMC Holds February

Soup-er Bowl Challenge

Each February for the past five years, members of the

Brunnerville United Methodist Church, 517 Pine Hill Road,

Lititz (Brunnerville) hold a soup-er bowl challenge event to

collect cans of soup to donate to the local Lititz-Warwick

Community Chest food bank. A member of the Brunnerville

congregation sets the challenge by promising to personally

donate a can of soup for each can received during the

challenge, provided the members first donate 200 cans.

This year the challenge resulted in the collection of a

fantastic 649 cans of soup for the food bank. Pictured are

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny,

March 23 from 9am to 10:30am

This will be followed by the annual church Easter Egg hunt

at 11AM. There is no charge for the events and no pre-

registration is required. The egg hunt is limited to ages

infant to 12 years old. A free will offering for breakfast will

be available.
